Uniform Etiquette
Full/ Half Uniform:
Beret:

- The beret must be worn level with the ground approximately 2.5 cm from the eyebrows, with the crest approximately above the left eye.
- The beret must be of the correct size.
- The beret must be folded and pressed correctly and neatly.
- There should not be any ironing of the beret.
- The ribbon must be tucked into the beret.
- The crest must be attached securely to the beret.
- A hairnet must always be worn when the headdress is on.
- The headdress must always be worn when out in the open.

Blouse:
- The blouse must be comfortably loose.
- The blouse must be ironed correctly.
- The blouse must not be waxed.
- The blouse collar must be ironed flat.
- There must be no visible defects on the blouse.
- The buttons must be in good condition.
- The buttons must face the correct direction.
- The front buttons must be in line with the belt buckle.
- The zip of the skirt must be in line with the seam line of the back of the blouse.
- Badges must be polished and kept shiny.
- The original colour of the badges and ranks must not fade.
- The badges and ranks must be placed in the correct position.
- The Velcro securing the formation sign must be sewed and not glued onto the uniform.
- The formation sign must be placed on the sleeve 3 fingers from the top and in line with the epaulette.
- The name tag must be in line with the first button.
- For half uniform, the t-shirt worn must be standardised.
- No folding of sleeves is allowed.
- When in full/half uniform, the blouse/t-shirt must not hang out too much such that the belt is covered; at least 3⁄4 of the belt must be seen.

Belt:
- The belt must be of the correct length.
- The belt holes and edges of the belt must be blackened.
- The belt loop must not be missing.
- The belt loop must be placed 2 fingers from the end.

Skirt:
- The skirt must be comfortably loose.
- There must be no visible defects on the skirts.
- The skirt must be ironed properly.
- The skirt must be 3 fingers above the knees.
- There should not be any frayed ends on the skirt.

Boots:
- Socks must be black in colour.
- Socks must be 3 fingers above the ankle.
- The whole boot must be polished with black solid shoe polish.
- The shoelaces must be tied properly.

Others:
- No accessories are to be worn.
- Items of religious purpose are to be removed and placed in the skirt pocket.
- Black spectacle hooks/bands are to be worn when in full/half uniform.
- For girls with long hair, a black figure-of-eight clip must be used when wearing headdress to secure the ponytail.
- Only 1 ear stick per ear is allowed regardless of how many ear holes there are.
- Nothing is to be placed in the skirt pocket except for tissues/handkerchiefs and religious items.
- No cadet is allowed to wear full uniform in public.

PT Kit:
T-shirt:
- The t-shirt worn must be standardised.
- No folding of sleeves is allowed.

Track Pants:
- The colour of track pants should be standardised.
- The logo on the track pants should not be bigger than one's thumb.

Shoes:
- Only plain white socks are allowed to be worn.
- No ankle socks are allowed to be worn.
- Only white school shoes are allowed to be worn.

Others:
- No accessories are to be worn.
- Black spectacle hooks/bands are optional to be worn.
- Girls with long hair are to tie up their hair only with black rubber bands.
- Only 1 ear stick per ear is allowed for girls; regardless of how many ear holes there are.
- Fringes are to be clipped up with black clips; no hairbands allowed.

Hygiene:
- Fingernails must be short and clean.
- No nail polish must be worn.
- Hair must be neat and tidy.
- All fringes must not fall below the eyebrows. Fringes longer than this must be clipped up.
- Cadets are not allowed to dye or perm their hair.
- Cadets are not allowed to have any form of hair styling products (e.g. hair gel, wax, spray) on their hair.
- Girls who have long hair must tie it up neatly with only black rubber bands.
- No coloured contact lenses are to be worn.
