New Blogskin

Hello, this is Sergeant Zhen Ying!

As you can obviously see, i've changed the blogskin. I had my friend personally do the codes for me. May I have any suggestion for the blogskin of this blog? Is it too neat? Is the white too glaring? Would you suggest what to be added in? Please comment, even if it's something small so that i can improve the presentation of this blog! :D

AHS Newsletter Introduction

AHS NPCC was founded in 2005 with a pioneer batch of 18 who have since banded together and established up a strong and stable unit. As the chairperson of the pioneer batch, I am very honored to partake in our first ever online newsletter and would like to express my gratitude towards the editors, Jian Qiong, Wan Ling and Ray Seen, for taking time off to set up and update it.

The objective of this online newsletter is to enable readers to get a better understanding of the events which has taken place in our unit. I also hope that through this channel, it will allow readers to trace and recount with us the baby steps that the unit is taking to bring itself to greater heights.

Last, I would like to thank our teachers-in-charge, Miss Aline Poh, Miss Fadhzila and Miss Lim, for giving the unit plenty of support and resources throughout the years including the encouragement to set up this online newsletter.

This, being AHSNPCC's 1st newletter ever since its founding, marks as a milestone in the unit's progress. It records most of the significant events which have taken place and happened to AHSNPCC in the process of building up to a full unit.

We started off in 2005, all the way till this day, putting in efforts to bond ourselves cohesively while being disciplined and having fun at the same time. This, is the brainchild of O.C. Miss Poh, who encouraged the setting up of this online newsletter so as to keep events as memories.

Today, 34 students in Anglican High are members of which blood and sweat are shed in the process of the unit's growing up. Tears may be shed occasionally, but we will stay strong and unit-ed as one unit and family which will soar to greater heights, like the eagle, the mascot of Anglican High. The perseverance will always be exhibited, for this is the spirit of AHSNPCC.

大家好，欢迎来到圣公会学警团的专属网页，来感染一下温馨家庭的凝聚力。

圣公会学警团成立于2005年，由21个天真懵懂的小姑娘组成。我们来自不同的背景，却本着一样的理想。我们要自强不息，顶着狂风巨浪告诉全世界的人：我们是女生，但我们不是弱者！

刚开始，大家难免被艰苦的训练环境折磨得叫苦不迭，有的人产生了放弃的念头。一系列的挫折让我们体会到为一个新的课外活动建立知名度原来是那么难。可我们终究坚持了下来，遵守纪律，没有半途而废。05年底我们为了吸引中一新生而进行了两个月的筹备工作，虽然结果让很多人掉下了眼泪，但我们重新站起，与06年的四个团员共创佳绩。经过一整年的艰苦训练和意志磨练，我们步步迈向高峰。黄天不负有心人，07年一月，我们成功迎来12个中一新生，这是多大的安慰与肯定啊……

现今共有34个团圆的圣公会学警团，已经为我校赢得多项大奖，其中包括全国射击比赛第一名。但是我们不会沾沾自喜，因为奋斗是一条坎坷的路，而我们是家人，所以可以互相鼓励，互相督促。

最后，我们要谢谢所有的老师和训练人员……若是没有他们的耐心指导，我们无法获得今天的荣誉与骄傲！

This newsletter is like a documentation of the fun, the laughter, the jokes, the hardships, the tears of what we have all experienced together. We started out later, as compared to many other uniformed units, had nothing to speak of, with us not even knowing who is sitting beside us during the first ever meeting together. Till now, where we can even set up a newsletter to share our experiences with one another. This marks the maturation of our unit and of course, ourselves. It marks the steps the all of us have taken to bring our unit onto higher ground. To this date, i have never once regretted calling myself a AHSNPCC cadet and I am pleased and happy when I was asked to lend a hand in kick starting the unit's first ever newsletter.
